Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the QRPix website, event pages, QR upload tools and related services (“Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a plan or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

“We”, “us” and “our” refer to QRPix. “You” and “your” refer to the person or entity using the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

1) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an organiser account or purchase a plan. Guests who upload content must be 13+ or have parental permission where applicable.

2) Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use or security incident.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or suspected misuse.

3) Plans, Fees and Billing

• Prices are shown in GBP and include the features stated on the Pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Each plan provides access for 12 months from purchase unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms.
• If we cannot take payment, we may pause access to the event page and gallery until resolved.

4) Event Pages and QR Codes

• Each event receives a unique URL (e.g. eventname.qrpix.co.uk) and a QR code that directs guests to upload.
• Uploads are posted to the event gallery automatically. Organisers can remove any photo at any time via the dashboard.
• Organisers can choose whether guests see all uploads or only their own.

5) Acceptable Use

• Do not upload or encourage others to upload illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, violent, pornographic, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share (e.g. copyrighted works without permission, images violating privacy or publicity rights).
• Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or scrape the Service, or misrepresent your identity.
• We may remove content that breaches these Terms and may suspend accounts involved.

6) Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you and your guests upload.
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display and transmit the content solely to provide the Service and associated features.
• You confirm you have obtained necessary permissions and lawful bases to upload and share personal data contained in images or captions.

7) Intellectual Property

The Service, software, branding, and design are owned by QRPix or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

8) Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data and how to exercise your rights.

9) Availability and Changes

We strive to keep the Service available and up-to-date. We may modify features, impose limits, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable. We may update these Terms and will post the new version with an updated date.

10) Warranties and Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11) Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QRPix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QRPix from any claim, liability, damage, loss and expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you or your guests upload or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

13) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ends and we may delete or archive event content after a reasonable period, as described in our Privacy Policy.

14) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law grants you mandatory local rights.
